The Hot Box Gallery - Because the gallery's strong branding identity featured 'antiqued' elements such as parchment, scratches, and serif fonts, the website needed to stay true to a vintage look without contrasting with the artwork featured each month. The gallery managers also needed an easy way to post events, photos and videos, and allow site visitors to comment on shows. We decided to go with Wordpress as a content management system and a simple, clean design that would showcase the art presented each month.
Kazia Jankowski - Kazia needed an easy way to update her own site once the design was finished. With Wordpress as a content management system, she has the ability to update her portfolio with new writing whenever needed. In order to mask that it was a Wordpress site, the designer changed the layout from a typical blog format. The imagery and navigation are all part of the page templates. We also added image galleries driven by jQuery for an elegant, interactive touch.
Move Yoga Studio - This local yoga instructor wanted a site that was kid-friendly yet conveyed professionalism to school administrators and parents.
